Volleyball Recap: Royal's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Royal can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Chadwick Dolphins on Saturday. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dolphins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Chadwick was led to victory by Bryce Cordova and Olivia Simms. Cordova had 15 digs and five aces, while Simms had eight digs and four aces. That's the most aces Cordova has posted since back in September.

Royal moved to 17-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Chadwick, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-18.

Royal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chadwick, they will face off against Ontario Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
