Soccer Game Preview: Morgan County vs. Oconee County

Morgan County is 0-6 against Oconee County since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Morgan County's offense. They came up short against Academy for Classical Education on Tuesday, falling 4-0. Morgan County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Oconee County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Parkview on Tuesday.

Morgan County's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Oconee County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Morgan County suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Oconee County in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
