Football Recap: Christiansburg Falls to Carroll County in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Christiansburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The matchup between the Blue Demons and the Carroll County Cavaliers didn't end well, with the Blue Demons falling 35-21. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Christiansburg's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Izaiah Cotto, who rushed for 84 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and Colby Asbury, who rushed for 50 yards and one touchdown.

Ayden Dickerson was a one-man wrecking crew For Carroll County. as he rushed for 62 yards and a pair of scores, and also caught one touchdown.
