Softball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short on the Road Against Hermiston

Eisenhower had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Hermiston Bulldogs, falling 18-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Cadets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Eisenhower saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicole Salmanca, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Abbiegail Vargas was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Hermiston and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Eisenhower is taking a road trip to square off against Naches Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hermiston, they will host Hanford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
