Softball Preview: Camden County Bruins vs. Perquimans Pirates        
        
		
            
 After three games on the road, Camden County is heading back home. They will take on the Perquimans Pirates at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Camden County: 2.8, Perquimans: 3.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
 Camden County is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Wednesday, just like they did against Holmes (and have done all season long). Camden County was the clear victor by  a  17-7 margin over Holmes on Tuesday.
 Camden County got a  massive  performance out of  Emma Young, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Ruby Arnette was another key contributor,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Perquimans was able to grind out a solid  victory over Gates County on Tuesday, taking the game  6-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Perquimans.
  Addisyn Stallings looked comfortable as she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Kaydee Hunter was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Kenley Stallings, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Camden County's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Perquimans, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 15 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record  this season.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Wednesday. Camden County hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.6  home runs per game. However, it's not like Perquimans struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.4. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
