More waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Summit Shasta Black Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Tuesday.

Anthony Selway made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

In other batting news, Zep Cortese was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. Easton Selway was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

More pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Summit Shasta, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

More didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against KIPP San Jose Collegiate on the 7th. As for Summit Shasta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Design Tech on the 6th.
