Softball Recap: Pasquotank County Comes Up Short

Pasquotank County fell victim to Manteo and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Redskins, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-5 last Tuesday.

Pasquotank County's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-6. As for Manteo, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Pasquotank County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-5 defeat against Holmes on the 9th. As for Manteo, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-2 victory against SouthWest Edgecombe on the 9th.
