Volleyball Game Preview: Mulberry Grove Aces vs. Sandoval Blackhawks

Mulberry Grove and Sandoval are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Aces will venture away from home to face off against the Blackhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Mulberry Grove came up short against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Sandoval was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Lebanon.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-16.

Mulberry Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Sandoval, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Mulberry Grove beat Sandoval 2-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
