Baseball Recap: Isabella Takes a Loss

Isabella was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Autauga Academy Generals.

Isabella saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Henderson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Henderson also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Isabella's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Autauga Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-10 record.

Coming up, Isabella will challenge Dallas County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Autauga Academy, they will square off against Holtville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
