Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

St. Paul Lutheran came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Oak Grove, but Phillip Nadeau wouldn't allow it. The Oak Grove Panthers secured a 53-47 W over the St. Paul Lutheran Saints on Friday thanks in part to Nadeau, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 33 points and seven rebounds. Those 33 points gave him a new career-high.

With the victory, Oak Grove broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9. As for St. Paul Lutheran, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

Oak Grove will welcome Van Horn at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Paul Lutheran has already played their next game (against Kingsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
