Volleyball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Skyline's Ninth in Last 11 Outings

Skyline won the last time they faced Mount Si and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Skyline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sanika Vipin, who had 17 digs. Another player making a difference was Kate Reinkensmeyer, who had six digs and three aces.

Skyline was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are a perfect 10-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Skyline is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10-3 record this season. As for Mount Si, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.

Skyline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mead on the 22nd. Mount Si does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
