Basketball Game Preview: Grants Pass Cavemen vs. South Medford Panthers

The Grants Pass Cavemen will venture away from home to challenge the South Medford Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. South Medford took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Grants Pass, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Grants Pass earned a 57-45 win over South Eugene.

Meanwhile, South Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-54 heartbreaker at the hands of Sheldon. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since December 4, 2024.

South Medford's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-9. As for Grants Pass, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
