Soccer Recap: Geneva Find Success

Geneva came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the East Rochester Bombers on Friday.

Natalie Meeks and Meghan Forbes scored both of Geneva's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Geneva picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for East Rochester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geneva will head out to take on Greece Olympia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Rochester, they will venture away from home to face off against Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
