Softball Game Preview: Seaford Bluejays vs. Delmar Wildcats

Seaford is 1-6 against Delmar since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bluejays will welcome the Wildcats at 4:15 p.m. Seaford has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Seaford fell victim to Indian River and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Indians. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Delmar faced Caravel Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Seaford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Delmar, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
