Archbishop Carroll had won five straight games and William Secola did his part to make it six on Thursday. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes as they made off with a 35-14 victory for which the team can thank Secola, who rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Archbishop Carroll's win bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
