Sparkman had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Auburn Tigers 6-5. The victory was nothing new for the Senators as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Eden Parker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. Parker was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Megan Wilbanks and Laila Watkins did most of the damage at the plate: Wilbanks went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Watkins went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Krimson Phillips, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base.

Sparkman's win bumped their record up to 40-12-1. As for Auburn, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 28-18.
