Basketball Recap: Tavares Piles Up the Points Against University

On Tuesday, the Tavares Bulldogs took their match with ease, bagging a 72-28 victory over the University Titans. That looming 72-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tavares to victory, but perhaps none more so than IZAYIA WILLIAMS, who went 6 for 8 en route to 14 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of AMARE WALKER, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points.

Tavares has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
