Football Game Preview: Huntingdon vs. Perry County

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Huntingdon. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Perry County at 7:00 PM. Perry County will need to watch out since Huntingdon have now posted big point totals in their last eight contests.

Huntingdon put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their match against Wayne County by a conclusive 46-22 score. Junior Hunter Ensley, who rushed for 182 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Huntingdon's success. Ensley has been a consistent playmaker for Huntingdon as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Perry County, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They fell to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central 14-22.

Huntingdon simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Perry County 62-0. Will Huntingdon repeat their success, or does Perry County have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
