West Florida Baptist Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on East Hill Christian with a sharp 21-4 victory on Friday. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Will Beard was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Beard was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases.

In other batting news, West Florida Baptist Academy got a massive performance out of Trey Hughes, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. What's more, Hughes posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Fischer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Gulf Pointe Latin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 20-3 to Trinitas Christian.

Gabriel Biagini made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That run was his first of the season.

West Florida Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Gulf Pointe Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
