Recap: Gilbert Indians vs. Dreher Blue Devils

The Gilbert Indians stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dreher 59-30 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Gilbert has posted since December 11, 2023.

Gilbert's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Campbell, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Blythe Price, who scored six points along with seven steals and six rebounds.

Gilbert pushed their record up to 12-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Dreher, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.

Gilbert will be playing at home against Orangeburg-Wilkinson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dreher, they will head out on the road to challenge Lower Richland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lower Richland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
