Volleyball Recap: Galena Bears vs. Exeter Tigers
Galena proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Exeter Tigers, sneaking past 3-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory back in September.
Mel Rice paced Galena's offense, picking up 38 kills. Rice got some help from Ava Watson and her 35 assists. Watson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
