Volleyball Recap: Nederland Takes a Loss

Nederland lost against Two Roads Charter School back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Penny Bodnar paced Nederland's offense, picking up three kills. Bodnar were helped by Reya Levy and Naima Bullings, who contributed three assists each. Bullings was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Hannah Lehner, who had seven aces and four assists. Lehner is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Nederland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Two Roads Charter School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Nederland will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado at 6:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Two Roads Charter School, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lotus School For Excellence on the 25th.
