Game recap: Scappoose High School Football Team defeats Rainier

After taking the lead on a Robbie Backus touchdown pass to Jacob Wendelshafer in the first quarter, Scappoose (Ore.) led 34-12 at the half.

The Indians grew their lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. Scappoose scored once in the quarter on a Taylor Loss touchdown pass to Justice Oman.

Loss stood out for SHS in the win. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.

With the win the Indians extended their winning streak to three games.

Scappoose (3-0) will play a non-conference game against Central next week, while Rainier (1-2) will take on Portland Christian also in a non-conference game.
