Volleyball Game Preview: Skyline Falcons vs. Holy Family Tigers

Skyline hasn't had much luck against Holy Family recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Falcons will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Skyline duked it out with Horizon on Tuesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2.

Skyline took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-18, 17-25, 24-26, 25-16, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Holy Family lost 3-0 to Erie on Tuesday. Holy Family hasn't had much luck with Erie recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Holy Family couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Erie a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 31-29, 25-21.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Holy Family, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
