Football Recap: Pella Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Davis County last Friday, Pella Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles and the South Tama County Trojans were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Eagles suffered a 28-27 defeat.

Pella Christian's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Tama County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pella Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Albia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Tama County will challenge rival Davis County on Friday.
