Soccer Game Preview: Klein vs. Klein Forest

The Klein Bearkats will challenge the Klein Forest Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Klein's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Klein managed to keep up with Klein Cain until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Klein came up short against Klein Cain, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Bearkats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Hurricanes are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Klein Forest didn't have quite enough to beat Magnolia West on Saturday and fell 3-2.

Anthony Zavala and Enrique Zarate scored both of Klein Forest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Klein's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Klein Forest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
