Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Harvard-Westlake

Harvard-Westlake won the last time they faced Notre Dame (SO) and things went their way on Friday too. The Harvard-Westlake Wolverines came out on top against the Notre Dame (SO) Knights by a score of 4-2. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wolverines' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Knights are ranked 48th).

The victory got Harvard-Westlake back to even at 4-4-2. As for Notre Dame (SO), they moved to 9-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvard-Westlake will welcome Crespi at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will host Sierra Canyon at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
