Volleyball Recap: Matanzas Takes a Loss

Matanzas saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the George Jenkins Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.

Matanzas' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for George Jenkins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Coincidentally, Matanzas and George Jenkins will both be playing Nease the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Panthers at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
