Basketball Recap: Eastridge's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Eastridge entered their matchup against Brockport on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eastridge Lancers fell to the Brockport Blue Devils 63-58. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lancers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 102nd).

Eastridge's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2. As for Brockport, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastridge will take on Pittsford at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Brockport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
