Baseball Game Preview: Walton Wildcats vs. Bronx High School of Science Wolverines

For the second straight game, Walton will face off against Bronx High School of Science. The Wildcats will face off against the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Walton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Walton is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since May 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bronx High School of Science, sneaking past 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won four in a row.

For Bronx High School of Science's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Brisman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Bronx High School of Science has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for Walton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
