Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Downtown Magnets). They blew past the Aspire Ollin Jaguars 8-1 on Tuesday. Given the Suns' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Jaguars are ranked 1133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Downtown Magnets' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those six matchups. As for Aspire Ollin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which is still a better percentage than their 2-13-1 record this season.
