Basketball Recap: Northmont Takes a Loss

Northmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by the Beavercreek Beavers 62-20. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbolts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 539th, while the Beavers are ranked 186th).

Northmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Beavercreek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Northmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-47 loss against Springfield on the 25th. As for Beavercreek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-45 win against Wayne on the 25th.
