Softball Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lockwood Tigers, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 20-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lockwood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Greenfield has already played their next game, a 12-3 win against Osceola on the 14th. As for Lockwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Golden City on the 13th.
