Basketball Recap: Urbana Takes a Loss

Urbana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Manual Rams 60-13. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while the Rams are ranked 104th).

Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Manual, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Urbana Tigers take on the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Manual has already played their next matchup (against Illinois Valley Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
