Basketball Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Bolivar Liberators, falling 71-42. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Liberators are ranked 64th).

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Bolivar, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Marshfield has already played their next match (against Branson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bolivar will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
