Baseball Recap: Forest Hill Comes Up Short

Forest Hill and Dwyer squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Forest Hill had to settle for second. They lost 11-1 to the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Forest Hill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Seal, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Forest Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Dwyer, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Forest Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dwyer, they will take on Martin County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
