Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Lake Warriors vs. Lakeland Chiefs + How To Watch

The Elk Lake Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Lakeland Chiefs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Elk Lake is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Elk Lake came up short against Blue Ridge and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-10, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Lakeland posted their closest win since October 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past Dunmore 3-2.

Elk Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lakeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Everything went Elk Lake's way against Lakeland in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Elk Lake made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
