It was a good run, but Junction unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a hard 64-47 fall against the Goldthwaite Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Junction this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-46 back in December of 2024.

Junction's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Goldthwaite, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Junction will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnson City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Goldthwaite, they will head out on the road to square off against Harper at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
