Soccer Recap: Walla Walla Comes Up Short

Walla Walla came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Richland Bombers. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Walla Walla couldn't quite close it out.

Walla Walla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Richland, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Walla Walla is set to challenge their familiar foe Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Richland will face off against rival Kamiakin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
