Soccer Recap: Durant Gets the Win

Durant won the last time they faced Will Rogers College and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions came out on top against the Ropers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Durant.

Kira Hoffman and Jaylin Patten scored all three of Durant's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Durant's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Will Rogers College, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Durant will square off against rival Coweta at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Will Rogers College is set to challenge their familiar foe Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
