Carrington fell victim to Velva/Drake/Anamoose and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Aggies.

They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over Wilton/Wing. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won three in a row.

River Fylling made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Fylling was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
