Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cooper). They blew past the Conner Cougars 49-14 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-7.

Cooper had a senior duo take command as Keagan Maher gained 216 total yards and five touchdowns and Cam O'Hara threw for 220 yards and three TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes.

The victory got Cooper back to even at 3-3. As for Conner, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cooper is set to face off against their familiar foe Dixie Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Conner will challenge rival Boone County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
