Paradise won the last time they faced Bowie and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers breezed past the Jackrabbits to the tune of 43-9. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 748th).

The win was the third in a row for Paradise, bringing their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.7 points on average over those games. As for Bowie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Paradise is set to take on their familiar foe Iowa Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bowie will challenge rival Ponder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
