Basketball Recap: Bowler Takes a Loss

Bowler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the Wild Rose Wildcats and fell 74-27. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 451st, while the Wildcats are ranked 157th).

Bowler's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wild Rose, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Bowler has already played their next contest (against Rosholt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Wild Rose Wildcats face off against the Pacelli Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wild Rose has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 228 points over their last three matches.
