Basketball Recap: Kise Seaton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Box Elder over Hays-Lodge Pole

Box Elder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds, falling 63-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-40 back in January.

Box Elder's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kise Seaton, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Martay Stiffarm-Rosette, who put up ten points.

Box Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hays-Lodge Pole, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Box Elder didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-53 victory against Centerville on the 1st. As for Hays-Lodge Pole, they will head out to take on Rocky Boy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
