Baseball Recap: Elliot Christian Comes Up Short

Elliot Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Legacy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 back in March.

Andrew Flanigan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Aiden Riley was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Elliot Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Humphreys Able Charter, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

As of now, neither Elliot Christian nor the Legacy have any future games scheduled.
