Volleyball Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Clinton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Clinton Christian Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Clinton Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Joseph Catholic, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

Clinton Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heritage Academy at 12:00 p.m. on the 27th. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against St. Aloysius on the 11th.
