It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Winters Mill Falcons can now relate to. They fell just short of Forest Park by a score of 12-9. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, Winters Mill couldn't push the score so high this time.

TiJuan Reed was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Winters Mill's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Forest Park, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Winters Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forest Park will head out on the road to face off against Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calvert is on a four-game streak of home wins, Forest Park a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
