Baseball Recap: Springbrook Takes a Loss

Springbrook came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wheaton Knights, falling 15-1. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Springbrook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ivan Salinas Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. James Reiner was another, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Springbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Wheaton, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.
