There's no place like home for Englewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Westside Wolverines with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While Englewood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-22.

Anette PachecoRodriguez paced Englewood's offense, picking up nine kills. PachecoRodriguez got some help from Lianette PachecoRodriguez and her 16 assists. Lianette was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win got Englewood back to even at 2-2. As for Westside, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood will host Wolfson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westside, they will be playing at home against Stanton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
